Regal will sell a popcorn container sculpted as the Lipstick-Face Demon, the red-faced character on the artwork for Insidious: Out of the Further. It reaches select locations Wednesday, August 19, two days before the film opens at the chain on Friday, August 21.
The container is a sculpted head. Red skin, black markings across the brow, cheeks and chin, yellow eyes, bared teeth, black hair. Regal says it comes with a large popcorn. The product page reads, “Don’t look behind you.”
No price appears on the product page, Regal’s announcement posts, or the artwork.
The Collectible Combo: A 130 oz Tin and a 44 oz Cup
Regal is also selling a Collectible Combo, a 130 oz tin paired with a 44 oz cup, filled with popcorn and soda.
The tin is wrapped in an image of a face with long-clawed hands pressed over it. The cup reads “Evil found a way out.”
The Shadow Mule
Regal is also serving a cocktail. The Shadow Mule is a blood orange vodka mule inspired by the film, and it is 21 and over.
Where and When
The bucket and the combo are at select Regal locations from August 19, while supplies last. Regal says the Shadow Mule is available starting August 21, the day the film reaches the chain. Regal has not said which locations, or how many of anything it has. Tickets are on sale now at regmovies.com.
Popcorn Buckets Beyond the Theme Parks
Sculpted-character popcorn containers have run on this desk three times in the past week. Disney is putting a Hatbox Ghost bucket on both coasts, with a Headless Horseman alongside it at Magic Kingdom, and Universal Studios Japan has built a Resident Evil Licker that straps to your back. Regal is doing it on a release calendar rather than a season.
Concessions as collectibles sit in a wider gap. Mars found that 71% of US adults want sensory or textural experiences from treats. Separately, the 2022 Haunt Industry Benchmark Survey found fewer than 10% of haunted attractions incorporate food at all. Both figures come from our 2026 trends reporting, which also notes that the Mars survey asked consumers about candy, not about attractions.
Merchandise and cocktail details per Regal.
