SunnyD has a Halloween drink this year, and it will not tell you what it tastes like. SpookyD is a limited-edition SunnyD with a secret flavor and haunted-house packaging, out now at Walmart stores nationwide while supplies last.
The flavor is a mystery by design. SunnyD is asking fans to guess it and tag @sunnydofficial with their answers, turning the drink into a season-long guessing game. “SpookyD brings that spirit to life in a way only SUNNYD can,” said Randi Jachino, chief marketing officer at Harvest Hill Beverage Company.
What SpookyD comes in
SpookyD is sold in two formats. The gallon jug carries 60 calories and 100 percent of the daily value of Vitamin C per 8-ounce serving. The 18-pack of 6.75-ounce bottles is labeled a “Limited Time Trick-or-Treat Pack,” with 50 calories and 80 percent Vitamin C per bottle. Both wear the same purple, ghost-and-haunted-house Halloween label with a “Mystery Flavor” callout, and both are an artificially flavored drink.
SunnyD announced SpookyD on August 26, 2026. It is available at Walmart stores nationwide for a limited time. It is one of several Halloween drinks landing on shelves this fall, all tracked in our Fall Food and Drinks 2026 guide.
Guess-the-flavor is a Halloween play this year
SunnyD is not the only brand turning a secret flavor into a Halloween campaign. Hi-Chew brought back its Halloween Mystery Mix with an undisclosed flavor to guess, the same mechanic from the candy aisle. See our coverage of Hi-Chew’s Halloween Mystery Mix, and our Halloween candy 2026 guide for the rest of the season’s new treats. A similar retail drop this season is Fanta Ghost Face Punch, a Scream tie-in soda.
