Atlanta, GA — The killer from the Scream movies is getting his own soda this Halloween. Fanta Ghost Face Punch, a berry punch flavored soft drink in a black can with Ghost Face’s screaming mask across the front, has started surfacing in retail listings, as first reported by horror outlet Dread Central on August 12.

Coca-Cola and Fanta have not formally announced the flavor, and Fanta’s official product page does not list it yet. The product is real, though. H-E-B already carries a live listing for the 12-pack with official pack photography, and the packaging reads “Berry Punch Flavored Soda & Other Natural Flavors.”

What Ghost Face Punch Is

H-E-B’s product description calls it a naturally flavored, caffeine-free, limited-edition soda with “the refreshing flavor of Punch.” The pack’s nutrition flag puts it at 160 calories per 12-ounce can, and the 20-ounce bottle in the promotional art shows the soda itself pours purple.

The look is the selling point. The cans and the fridge pack are solid black, with the hooded slasher’s white mask screaming across them and the Fanta logo dripping from blue into purple. Punch is a returning move for the brand: last year’s Fanta horror flavor was Chucky’s Punch.

Sizes, Price, and the Rumored Date

The confirmed format is a fridge pack of 12 cans at 12 ounces each, which H-E-B lists at $5.97. Dread Central reports that 20-ounce bottles are also planned, and that an August 24 release date has been circulating through preorder listings, a date the outlet says it could not confirm with Coca-Cola.

Fanta’s Horror Streak

Ghost Face Punch continues a run Fanta started last Halloween, when the brand partnered with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to put five horror icons on its cans: Chucky, M3gan, Michael Myers, Freddy Fazbear, and The Grabber, per Coca-Cola’s newsroom. Ghost Face is having his own busy season too, with Dread Central noting a Scream Angry Orchard hard cider collaboration also on the way. You can check the H-E-B listing to find the 12-pack in stock near you.

Horror icons keep taking over the grocery aisle this season. Michael Myers just landed his own beer with Voodoo Ranger’s Slasher IPA, Cheetos cooked up a Blumhouse Flavor of Fear, and Oreo’s ghost cookies put the season’s friendlier spirits on the shelf. The full season is in our 2026 fall and Halloween food and drinks guide.
