Brainstorm Design Group is a graphic design, illustration, web design and digital resources company that works in the Halloween, horror and entertainment industries. Established in 1992, it produces advertising imagery, logos, websites and promotional materials for Halloween events, haunted attractions, haunted houses, manufacturers and publications.
Its custom artwork service covers character design, where the studio develops a mascot character for an event from the client’s descriptions, and background design, with custom landscapes and cityscapes that run from graveyards to post-apocalyptic cities and can be built around a client’s hometown or a landmark building. Clients receive the final art as layered Adobe Photoshop files in full color and black and white, with the character and the background on separate layers so the pieces can be rearranged for billboards, posters, websites, T-shirts and display ads.
In 2011 Hauntworld Magazine ranked Brainstorm #7 on its list of the “12 Things that Changed the Haunted House & Halloween Industry,” and the company has received the Haunted Attraction Association’s Lifetime Vendor Excellence Award.
