About Universal Concepts
Universal Concepts designs, fabricates and installs commercial Christmas displays and holiday lighting from Cumming, Georgia. Greg Fulwood started the family-owned company in Atlanta in 1980 as a commercial decorating business, and it now works for cities and towns, shopping centers, downtown development authorities, resorts, amusement theme parks, drive-through venues, zoos, botanical gardens and commercial properties.
Its displays include evergreen designs dressed with lights, ornaments and bows, custom-fabricated light displays with illuminated business logos or event branding, light tunnels, overhead canopies and arches with color-changing effects, themed displays for occasions from a winter wonderland to a spooky Halloween, and photo-op props such as life-sized light sculptures and giant holiday frames. Projects range from two-dimensional lawn decor to three-dimensional interactive displays synced to music.
Custom work runs from the first concept and sketches through finished illustrations, scaled drawings, site measurements, fabrication and implementation, and the company offers training on installation, take-down and storage. Universal Concepts exhibited in the Christmas Show section of TransWorld’s Halloween & Attractions Show 2026 at Booth 4027.
