Chipotle’s Boorito: a $6 Entree in Costume on Halloween

Boorito returns on Saturday, October 31, at participating Chipotle restaurants in the United States. Chipotle Rewards members who come in costume after 3 p.m. local time and scan their Rewards card at checkout get one entree for $6, through closing, with one discounted entree per costumed guest, and each restaurant decides whether a costume counts.

The deal is in the restaurant only, so it doesn’t work on kids meals, catering, or mobile, online or delivery orders. Guacamole (except on veggie entrees), queso, extra meat and other add-ons cost extra, and taxes and sides aren’t included. The entree still earns Chipotle Rewards points.

On Sunday, November 1, Chipotle waives the delivery fee on orders of $10 or more placed on the Chipotle app or website, not through third-party delivery apps, and menu prices are higher for delivery.

“We love that Chipotle has become part of so many fans’ Halloween traditions,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s senior vice president of brand marketing. “The passion around Boorito inspires us to find new ways to celebrate and surprise our fans year after year.”

Boorito began in 2000 as a burrito-themed costume contest, according to Chipotle, and went fully digital in 2020 with virtual trick-or-treating for BOGO codes. This October, Chipotle also brought back its $6 margaritas in select cities in the lead-up to Boorito.

Krispy Kreme: a Free Doughnut in Costume, October 30 and 31

Guests who visit a participating Krispy Kreme shop in costume on Friday, October 30, or Halloween, Saturday, October 31, get a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring doughnut, with no purchase needed. Krispy Kreme’s Looney Tunes Halloween doughnuts are in my Krispy Kreme Halloween story.

Red Lobster: Kids in Costume Eat Free, October 30 to November 1

Kids who come to Red Lobster in costume eat free from Friday, October 30, through Sunday, November 1, at participating restaurants in the United States and Canada. Dining in, one full-price adult dinner entree gets up to two free kids meals, with a limit of two per table. For To Go orders placed online, the code SPOOKY26 gets one free kids meal with a full-price adult dinner entree, and each free kids meal is worth up to $9.99. More free family events for the week are in my free Halloween events for kids guide.

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe: Free Pancakes in Costume on Halloween

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe, a Florida-born breakfast, brunch and lunch chain, gives guests in costume a free small stack of pancakes with a purchase of $10 or more on Saturday, October 31, at participating locations. It’s dine-in only, toppings cost extra, and Keke’s asks for no offensive or inappropriate costumes. Keke’s has restaurants in Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Colorado, California, Nevada and Georgia.

From October 31 through December 24, a $50 Keke’s e-gift card bought online comes with a $10 bonus e-gift card, good for dine-in through February 13, 2027.

It works at kiosks in Shake Shack and on the Shake Shack app and website, but not at the drive-thru or on third-party delivery apps, and it’s one free sandwich per order. Shake Shack’s Halloween shake is in my Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake story.
