Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles has four Halloween events this October, and two of them are already sold out. Still on sale: Street Food Cinema’s 21-and-over Boo-ze, Bites & Frights, with haunted pathways and horror double features on October 16, 17, 23 and 24 from $45, and Magic Market’s Bewitched witch market on October 10 and 11 for $15.

Boo-ze, Bites & Frights: 21+ Horror Double Features
Street Food Cinema turns the museum’s Victorian village into a 21-and-over Halloween night on four October dates. You walk in through a haunted walkway, and the movies play in two outdoor screening areas, with chairs provided. Around the screens there’s adult trick-or-treating, three bars, food trucks, a makers market, and a costume contest with prizes. Guided Victorian home tours run from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Each night is a double feature:
- October 16: Obsession and Companion
- October 17: A Nightmare on Elm Street and New Nightmare
- October 23: Sinners and Blade
- October 24: Jennifer’s Body and Bodies Bodies Bodies
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The first movie starts at 7 p.m., except on October 23, when Sinners starts at 6:45. General admission is $45 in advance and $50 at the door, and a $65 weekend pass covers both nights of one weekend. General admission parking is $25, sold separately on Tixr, and Tixr adds fees to each ticket.
Opening night’s food trucks include Angelenos Wood Fired Pizza, Boujie Dogz, The Musubi Box, Black Magic Cakery, and Coffinated Coffee, and Street Food Cinema says the lineup can change. Check-in and the bars are cashless, though food trucks and some bars may still take cash.
The entrance is at 3545 Pasadena Ave., Los Angeles 90031. Street Food Cinema warns there is no entrance at the Homer Street address that Google Maps shows. Parking is limited, so it encourages ride-sharing and points general admission parkers to the Heritage Square Metro station and street parking.

Magic Market’s Bewitched: A Witch Market on October 10 and 11
Magic Market’s Bewitched fills the grounds with a witch market from 5 to 10 p.m. on October 10 and 11. There are metaphysical and occult vendors, tarot readings, live music, workshops, vegan food vendors, and tours of the historic homes. The organizers ask guests to come dressed in their most witchy, vintage, or spooky outfits and to bring a blanket.
Tickets are $15 plus Eventbrite fees, or $65 for the VIP Witch’s Pass, and the market is open to all ages. Smoking, vaping, and burning candles, sage, or incense are not allowed. Park behind the museum at 3510 and 3545 Pasadena Ave., not on Homer Street.
Sold Out: After Dark and the Hallowe’en Faire
After Dark on October 9 is a two-hour paranormal investigation led by investigators Tammie Merheb-Chavez and Tawney Lewis, from 8 to 10 p.m. for ages 12 and up. Guests explore several historic areas after dark with paranormal investigation equipment. Eventbrite showed it as sold out on September 28.
A Hallowe’en Faire on October 31 is the museum’s daytime, all-ages Halloween, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It traces Halloween from the 1880s through the 1950s with historical Halloween party displays, penny dreadful storytelling, and trick-or-treating. It was also sold out on September 28. The listing’s FAQ says, “Tickets might become available at the door but are not guaranteed.”

Heritage Square Museum is a collection of Victorian-era buildings saved from demolition, on landscaped grounds just north of downtown Los Angeles. Outside the Halloween events, guided interior tours run most Saturdays and Sundays at noon, 1, 2, and 3 p.m., with tickets through Eventbrite.
