Lenox has released a Halloween version of its Spice Village collection: the Spice Village 6-Piece Halloween Set, six porcelain spice jars styled as haunted Victorian houses with black cats, bats, and ravens silhouetted in the glowing windows. It is $75 for the set of six, tagged NEW at lenox.com, and in stock as of this writing.

What Is in the Set

All six Lenox Spice Village Halloween spice jars styled as haunted Victorian houses

Six spice jars, each shaped as its own haunted house: poppy seed, sesame seed, star anise, mulling spice, cardamom, and fennel. Each jar is hand-painted Lenox porcelain, stands 3 inches tall, holds 5 ounces, and seals with a rubber gasket lid, so they are working spice jars rather than shelf-only miniatures. The designs commit to the bit. Ghosts and black cats haunt the windows, jack-o’-lanterns sit by front doors, and a spiderweb creeps across the Star Anise house’s gable.

Up close, the painting is dense. The Star Anise house puts a raven over the doorway, a witch in one window and a black cat in another, with pumpkins flanking the green double doors and a painted crack running up the plaster. The Mulling Spice jar gets its own turreted manor with spiders dangling in the parlor windows and a bat over the side door, which is the correct energy for the most Halloween-coded spice in the drawer.

Where to Buy It

Buy it from the product page while it shows in stock. One note from the fine print: the set is marked not eligible for discounts, so a promo code will not apply. If it sells out before you get there, set the notify-me alert and act fast when it fires. Lenox brought the Spice Village line back after a 35-year absence and has restocked it before, and the company has been expanding the line this year with a teapot, recipe box, and spoon rest. If your Halloween shelf needs company while you wait, Lush’s early Halloween drop and Target’s collection are both stocked and shipping now, and LEGO’s two small Halloween sets arrive August 1 at $19.99 and $29.99. Monster Cereals return this month for their 55th anniversary, and Mondo’s Over the Garden Wall Chapter 2 set is open for pre-order at $120.
