M&M’S is giving away a limited-edition Practical Magic 2 “Amas Veritas” Spell & Snack Pack, free with the purchase of an M&M’S Milk Chocolate Fun Size Sharing Bag at MMS.com/Practical-Magic. There are two chances to grab one, both at the stroke of midnight (12:00 AM ET / 9:00 PM PT): Thursday, September 3, and Monday, September 14. Packs are available while supplies last.
The tie-in celebrates Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the 1998 Warner Bros. Pictures classic, which opens only in theaters on September 10, 2026.
What is in the pack
Each pack holds custom-designed M&M’S candies printed with 12 symbols. Eight of them are inspired by the “Amas Veritas” love spell from the original film, the scene where young Sally Owens conjures up the perfect, impossible man in hopes of protecting her heart. The other four are brand new. M&M’S calls them an “extended verse,” and they drop hints about the mysteries brewing in the sequel.
Fans can recreate the spell bite by bite, one symbol at a time.

The pack is not sold separately. It comes as a gift with purchase when you buy an M&M’S Milk Chocolate Fun Size Sharing Bag at MMS.com/Practical-Magic during one of two drops:
- Drop 1: Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 12:00 AM ET (9:00 PM PT the night before)
- Drop 2: Monday, September 14, 2026, at 12:00 AM ET (9:00 PM PT the night before)
The midnight timing is a nod to the film. M&M’S has not announced a price for the sharing bag, so check the page when the drop goes live. Limited-edition tie-ins like this tend to go fast, so the first drop is the one to set an alarm for.
Camilla Belle recreates the spell
M&M’S also brought back Camilla Belle, who played young Sally Owens and recited the “Amas Veritas” charm in the 1998 film. Nearly 28 years later, she is performing the spell again with an M&M’S twist in social videos on Instagram and TikTok.
