The biggest Spirit Halloween cities

Houston has more Spirit Halloween stores than any other city in North America.

City Stores
Houston, TX 10
Los Angeles, CA 9
Phoenix, AZ 9
San Antonio, TX 8
Tucson, AZ 7
Jacksonville, FL 7
Las Vegas, NV 6
Colorado Springs, CO 6
Columbus, OH 6
Toronto, ON 5

Arizona is the outlier. It has 45 stores in only 20 cities, so Phoenix and Tucson carry 16 between them. California has 142 stores spread across 106 different cities, which is a far thinner spread per market.

When they actually open

Opening dates, the flagship grand opening, and store hours are covered in our guide to when Spirit Halloween opens. On the locator side, once a store opens, its page switches from a “Closed” placeholder to live trading hours. Rollout pace varies by state: Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey and Georgia still have more than a quarter of their stores marked Coming Soon, while Oregon and Wisconsin are close to fully staged.

How to find your local store

Spirit’s store locator takes a ZIP code and returns the nearest locations with addresses. Use it for the store nearest you. Use the table above for the shape of the whole map.

If you had a Spirit Halloween in the same shopping center last year, that is a reasonable bet for this year, but confirm on the locator before driving anywhere.

How we counted

Spirit’s locator publishes a page for every store carrying the address, coordinates, phone number and a short descriptor. We read all 1,299 pages listed on July 29, 2026 and grouped them by state.

Two caveats. This is a single-day snapshot taken hours after the locator went live, and Spirit says the final number is 1,575, so expect these counts to rise. And a handful of city names arrive from Spirit’s data with punctuation stripped, so we have restored the standard spellings, for example Winston-Salem and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

More 2026 Spirit Halloween coverage from HAN

Based on a Haunted Attraction Network review of all 1,299 Spirit Halloween locations listed on the company’s store locator on July 29, 2026. Counts are a snapshot and will change as Spirit adds locations through August. We will refresh this page as the map fills in.
