Spirit Halloween’s 6-foot-8 Alien Xenomorph animatronic costs $449.99, holds a 4.94 rating from 90 ratings, and cannot be ordered from the website. Shipping is listed as out of stock, the item reads Not Available, and the Add to Cart button is disabled.
What It Does
“Introducing Xenomorph, a towering animatronic based on the main antagonist of the Alien movie,” Spirit writes. “This predatory alien animatronic features a detailed sculpt with dorsal spines, claws, an elongated head, carapace, and tail.”
Two things move. The torso “menacingly turns in a fluid side-to-side motion when activated,” per Spirit, and the inner jaw “mimics iconic movie scene action with quick teeth-popping movement that delivers a surprise jumpscare.”
The audio is environmental rather than dialogue: water dropping, chain clanking, engine humming, and alien screeching. It is triggered by an infrared sensor and works with Spirit’s external activators, sold separately.

Spirit flags it as an oversize item, which carries an extra shipping fee and cannot ship to a PO box, and limits orders to two units. It is marked officially licensed and exclusive to Spirit.
Getting One Now Means a Store
Spirit’s website is not the way to buy this today, which leaves the stores. Spirit says it is opening 1,575 locations this season.
It is worth being precise about how this differs from the other Spirit animatronic people are hunting. The Freddy Fazbear animatronic at $499.99 has never been orderable online at all. There is no product page for it on spirithalloween.com and no shipping option, because Spirit lists it as available exclusively in-store.
The Xenomorph is the opposite situation with the same result. It has a full product page, a listed price and a shipping option, and that shipping option is currently out of stock. One was never sold online. The other is unavailable today.
On eBay It Is Going for Double
The resale market has already priced the gap. Completed eBay sales over the first week of August show units moving at roughly twice Spirit’s $449.99.
The clearest figures are the Buy It Now sales, because those closed at the price shown. One sold August 7 at $1,299.99 with free delivery. Another sold the same day at $900 plus $104.73 shipping. A third sold August 4 at $899.99 plus $299.99 shipping. That is $1,004.73 and $1,199.98 landed on the two $900-level sales, against $449.99 at Spirit.
Several other listings closed as accepted offers or best-offer sales at asking prices between $600 and $1,199.99, though eBay does not disclose what an accepted offer actually settled at. The $600 was a pre-owned unit. Shipping is a real factor throughout: most sellers charged between $100 and $300, which is what a 53-pound oversize box costs to move.
Sellers have noticed the scarcity too. Listing titles carry phrases like “Rare Sold Out” and “SOLD OUT NEW,” though that is sellers describing the market rather than anything Spirit has said.
It is the same phenomenon driving Freddy Fazbear’s resale market, though nowhere near the same scale. Freddy, at $499.99 retail and in-store only, has been completing eBay sales mostly between $2,500 and $3,800, six to seven times what Spirit charges. At double, the Xenomorph looks restrained by comparison.
Where It Sits in Spirit’s Lineup
Of the Spirit animatronics HAN has covered this year, only Freddy Fazbear at $499.99 costs more. The Ghost Face animatronic is $279.99, Michael Myers is $349.99, Willow Witch and Crackles are $299.99 each, and the Doomsday Duo and Jeremy Jaws are $249.99.
