If you don’t want to make your own pumpkin-shaped pizza this Halloween, you can buy one at Target. The Market Pantry Pumpkin Shaped Pizza is a 17.45-ounce take-and-bake pepperoni pizza with cheddar in the cheese blend, and it’s $6, the same price as Target’s new ghost-shaped pizza.
The Pumpkin-Shaped Pizza
Target lists the pumpkin as a limited edition. It’s a thin-crust pepperoni pizza made with mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan Romano cheeses, and the label counts it as four servings of 330 calories each. It costs the same $6 as Target’s regular Market Pantry take-and-bake pepperoni pizza.
The Ghost-Shaped Pizza
The ghost is the smaller of the two at 15.14 ounces, and it’s also $6 and a limited edition. It’s a thin-crust pepperoni pizza with mozzarella and Parmesan Romano, but no cheddar, and the label counts it as three servings of 380 calories each.
How to Bake Them
Both are take-and-bake, so they need to be fully cooked at home, and Target says to keep them refrigerated until then. The directions are the same for both:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Take the pizza out of all its packaging and put it directly on the center oven rack.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edge is golden brown.
The back of the box has three ideas to make it your own:
- Drizzle it with hot honey or chili crisp before serving.
- Top the baked pizza with pickled jalapeños or banana peppers and red pepper flakes.
- Serve it with a garden salad with Italian dressing and soft garlic breadsticks.
Where to Find Them
Both pizzas are in the deli pizza section, and Target’s site lists them for store pickup or delivery only, with no shipping. Check the Target app for a store near you that carries them before you go.
Papa Johns’ Jack-o’-Lantern Pizza Is Listed as No Longer Available
If you were looking for Papa Johns’ version, its Jack-o’-lantern Pizza page listed it as “NO LONGER AVAILABLE” on September 28. That one is a pumpkin-shaped large thin crust pizza with pepperoni, olive eyes, and cheese, served unsliced with a pepperoncini.
