Monster High Skullector Krampus and Oogie Boogie dolls for 2026

Mattel used San Diego Comic-Con to reveal the biggest horror wave yet for Monster High Skullector, its premium collector doll line: the Universal Monsters trio of Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Mummy, plus Michael Myers, Oogie Boogie, and Krampus.

If you collect these, the important part is the calendar. Skullector drops are limited, they sell out in minutes, and each one lands on its own date at a different retailer. Here is what is confirmed.

The Universal Monsters trio ($44 each, in stores September 1)

Three dolls based on the original Universal Pictures classics, $44 each. They reach stores and roll out internationally on September 1; the initial run was online-only through Walmart.com in limited quantities.

  • Frankenstein (from the 1931 film) wears an all-black cropped jacket with pointed shoulders and electricity-inspired accents, with a windmill purse as the deep-cut accessory.
  • Dracula (1931) gets a collared dress, netted tights, two-tone buckled bat heels, blood-drip earrings, and a coffin purse.
  • The Mummy (1932) comes in a gauzy wrapped dress with fringe sleeves, golden eyes, sarcophagus-heel sandals, and a scarab ring.

Michael Myers ($70, August 8)

This is the one with real collector heat behind it, and it is a Mattel Creations exclusive at $70, limit two per customer. Mattel Creations lists the launch as August 8, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT, with Fang Club members getting an early-access window before the public on-sale. (Mattel’s own on-page terms reference August 7 windows, so watch both dates if you are trying to land one.)

The design pulls from 1981’s Halloween II rather than the original, specifically the hospital showdown with Laurie. Per Mattel’s product page, the doll stands 10.5 inches with 11 points of articulation and carries:

  • Michael’s jumpsuit rendered with red glitter spatter, over a matching spattered tank
  • Pumpkin and knife earrings, plus a pumpkin purse modeled on the film’s poster with a skullette twist
  • A knife designed to stab into the pumpkin
  • Platform boots with interactive heels holding a VHS cover and tape that slot together
  • A belt of charms including a syringe and a hatchet
  • Grayish pallor mimicking Michael’s mask, with black lipstick and red glitter tear tracks

Midsummer Scream tie-in: the designers behind the Michael Myers doll are doing a panel at Midsummer Scream on Saturday, August 8 at 3 p.m. PT at Universal’s booth, walking through the creative process. That is the same day the doll launches.

Oogie Boogie (Fall 2026)

Skullector’s Disney collaboration continues with the burlap-sack villain from The Nightmare Before Christmas, due Fall 2026. The design uses a patchwork-inspired silhouette, textured platform boots, and accessories nodding to Oogie’s insect-filled lair. Pricing has not been announced.

Krampus ($70, December 3)

Based on Legendary Pictures’ 2015 Krampus, this one closes out the year at $70 on Mattel Creations, launching December 3, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT with a 24-hour Fang Club early-access window before general availability. The doll wears a hooded jacket and ruched dress in blood-red tones, with extra-long chains and black knee-high boots recreating Krampus’s cloven hooves.

Already dropped: Ghostbusters’ Gozer

Worth knowing if you are new to the line: Skullector already did a Ghostbusters Gozer doll this year, revealed for Ghostbusters Day and dropped in June at $70, complete with mini Zuul and Vinz Clortho Terror Dogs and temple-steps packaging. It is a good illustration of how the line works, and of how fast these go.

Also revealed at the booth

Two non-horror-IP items are coming this fall: the Boo-riginal Creeproduction Dawn of the Dance dolls, reissuing Clawdeen Wolf, Frankie Stein, Cleo De Nile, Lagoona Blue, and Draculaura, and an original Draculaura Halloween Edition collector doll with a winged headpiece, haunted-house heels, and a jack-o’-lantern purse.

Why this line matters for Halloween fans

Skullector launched in 2020 and has become one of the more reliable barometers of which horror IPs have crossover pull. The 2026 collection reads like a shopping list of what is working everywhere else this season: Michael Myers, who is also Spirit Halloween’s $349.99 animatronic headliner; The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is showing up across nearly every major retailer’s 2026 decor; and the Universal Monsters, whose licensing footprint keeps expanding.
