Parsippany, NJ — Ferrero’s 2026 Halloween candy is out, led by a new limited-edition Kinder Joy x Stranger Things egg that hides one of 24 Funko-made Stranger Things toys, for $2.39. It arrives alongside Butterfinger Skulls at $1.99 and more than a dozen other treats across Kinder, Butterfinger, Keebler, Mother’s, and CRUNCH, up to a $19.99 Kinder Joy 15-pack.
Part of our Halloween Candy 2026 guide.
The New Item: Kinder Joy x Stranger Things
The Kinder Joy x Stranger Things Eggs are the one item Ferrero flags as new for 2026. Each egg keeps the standard Kinder Joy build, with one side holding layered sweet creams and cocoa-cream-filled wafer bites and the other holding a surprise toy, but swaps in one of 24 Stranger Things figures developed with Funko. They run $2.39 each and are available while supplies last.
Halloween-Shaped Treats
For candy and cookies built around the season, the lineup leans on novelty shapes and orange-and-black designs:
- Butterfinger Skulls — Bite-size Butterfinger in a skull shape, which Ferrero describes as “the same crispety, crunchety flavor, only way cuter.” $1.99.
- Mother’s Eerie Critters — Cat and bat-shaped shortbread cookies coated in orange and white frosting and topped with sprinkles. $5.17 for a 9-ounce pack, or $12.41 for a 30-count box of 0.5-ounce packs.
- Keebler Spookie Fudge Stripes — Fudge-striped cookies drizzled with orange fudge in spooky Halloween designs. $5.17.
- Kinder Joy Halloween Eggs — The standard Halloween egg, with sweet creams and wafer bites on one side and a surprise glow-in-the-dark Halloween toy on the other. $2.39.
Fun-Size and Snack-Size Bags
For the trick-or-treat bowl, Ferrero is carrying its core chocolate brands in seasonal bags:
- Kinder Chocolate Halloween Snack Size (T20) — Twenty individually wrapped milk-chocolate bars with a creamy, milky filling, made without artificial colors or preservatives. $8.19.
- Kinder Chocolate Minis (T34) — A 7.2-ounce share bag holding up to 34 individually wrapped minis. $5.89.
- Kinder Bueno Halloween Lay-Down Bag — Snack-size Kinder Bueno bars, a crispy wafer filled with hazelnut cream under milk chocolate with a dark chocolate drizzle. $8.19.
- Butterfinger Fun Size — The original bar in a smaller size, a crispy, peanut-buttery core in a chocolatey coating. $4.97, a Walmart exclusive.
- CRUNCH Fun Size — Milk chocolate and crisped rice. Price varies by retailer.
Variety Packs and Boo-Basket Multipacks
The multipacks are aimed at gifting and party favors as much as the candy dish:
- Kinder Joy Halloween Multipacks — Six-count for $8.89, 12-count for $16.99, and 15-count for $19.99. Ferrero pitches the 12- and 15-counts for boo baskets, Halloween gifts, and party favors.
- On-the-Go Variety Pack: Keebler Spookie Fudge Stripes Minis and Mother’s Eerie Critters — Fifteen packs of each. $12.41.
- On-the-Go Pack: Keebler Spookie Fudge Stripes Minis — Thirty mini packs. $12.41, a Walmart exclusive.
Where to Find It
The 2026 Halloween lineup is rolling out at major retailers now, with Butterfinger Fun Size and the 30-count Keebler Spookie Fudge Stripes minis listed as Walmart exclusives. Ferrero says it has more coming this season, teasing an annual Halloween survey and a celebrity partnership reveal still to be announced.
The lineup also leans on nostalgia, from the 1980s-set Stranger Things tie-in to long-running brands like Butterfinger and CRUNCH in seasonal packaging. That tracks with a wider 2026 pattern across food and retail, where Michaels built six Halloween collections on nostalgia and a recent Hershey research report framed the season around tradition, which we read as nostalgia as much as tradition.
