Target has announced its 2026 Halloween assortment. The lineup covers decor, costumes, treats and family activities, with Hyde & EEK! Boutique decor starting at $5 and the 60-inch Pose-N-Stay skeleton at $25. Target says nearly 70 percent of the collection is new, about 60 percent is sold only at Target, and 60 percent of the decor is under $10.

“Our guests are looking for more than simple Halloween decorations or costumes. They want the latest trends, meaningful ways to celebrate with family and friends, and products that reflect the fandoms they’re excited about,” said Cara Sylvester, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target.

Home Decor: Hyde & EEK! and Threshold

Target’s decor comes from two lines. Hyde & EEK! Boutique is the lower-priced line, with many pieces at $10 or less. The Ghost Ceramic Decorative Sculpture and the Ceramic Skeleton Figurine each cost $5. Other named pieces include the Medium Terra Cotta Jack Decorative Sculpture, the Lit Plastic Ghost in Dome Decorative Cloche, the Lit Pumpkin Jack O’Lantern with Timer, and the Large Metal House Decorative Sculpture.

The 60-inch Pose-N-Stay Skeleton is $25. It holds a pose, so it can be repositioned on a porch or in a yard through the season.

The second line is Threshold, which arrives later this month. It includes glass pumpkins, rattan decor, haunted village pieces, and entertaining items. Kids’ options include plushies, building sets, and mini figures now, with a Pillowfort Monster collection of weighted plush and hooded blankets, inspired by artwork created by kids, coming later.

Pricing and Availability

Target says nearly 70 percent of the collection is new, about 60 percent is exclusive to Target, 60 percent of the decor is under $10, and half of the costumes and accessories are under $25. The assortment is available in stores and online, with Drive Up and Order Pickup.

How This Fits the 2026 Retail Halloween Season

Target’s reveal follows a pattern HAN has tracked across major retailers this year, as chains move their Halloween sets earlier and compete on price. HAN has covered comparable 2026 collections from Build-A-Bear, Tractor Supply, and Buc-ee’s. Target’s season started before this announcement: HAN’s earlier look at what was already on Target shelves covered the first Hyde & EEK! Boutique waves, the Sanrio inflatables, and the pet-costume range.

Compared with retailers that lead on large animatronics, Target’s 2026 assortment is weighted toward families and value. The bulk of the lineup sits in budget decor, kids’ collections, fandom costumes, seasonal food, and make-together DIY kits, which matches the trend-and-family framing Target used throughout the announcement. This release is Target’s official, full-assortment reveal, adding the decor pieces, costume fandoms, and food lineup on top of what was already in stores.
