HalloweenCostumes.com has released its 2026 animatronics lineup, and it is the largest and most ambitious the retailer has ever put out. This year’s collection tops more than 75 new pieces, including one that stands nearly 14 feet tall and costs as much as a car. Leading the class of 2026: a $24,999.99 Lord of the Rings Balrog, a 12-foot Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, a 25-foot inflatable Leatherface, and two of the internet’s most-requested video game villains: CatNap and Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime.
The showstoppers: Balrog, Stay Puft, and 25 feet of Leatherface
The Lord of the Rings Balrog is the headline. At 13.75 feet tall and priced at $24,999.99, it is one of the largest and most expensive retail animatronics ever built. Its head pans, its whip arm raises and lowers, its wings flap, and its mouth moves in sync with audio from the films. Its eyes blink red. Its whip glows. Its mane appears to be on fire, with lighting you can adjust by remote.
At the more attainable end of the top tier: the Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Man stands 12 feet tall and lists at $699.99, and the 25-foot Leatherface inflatable from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre lists at $499.99. Both are yard-eaters. If you set one up, expect your neighbors to notice from three houses away.

Beyond the giants, the lineup leans hard into pop culture, much of it licensed and exclusive to HalloweenCostumes.com.
Poppy Playtime CatNap — $399.99. A 6.25-foot-tall version of the indie horror game villain, covered in soft fleece fur. His head sweeps left to right, his yellow eyes glow, and real fog pours out of his mouth with a red light illuminating the mist. He cycles through three audio tracks: heavy breathing, machinery sounds, and warning buzzers.
Poppy Playtime Huggy Wuggy — $349.99. A 7.5-foot-tall faux-fur monster on a metal frame, with free-hanging arms that sway as he moves. Motion detection triggers a two-phase scare: first he tilts his head side to side and delivers in-game phrases, then he lunges forward with glowing yellow eyes.
Coraline Other Mother — $349.99. A 7.25-foot recreation of the Laika stop-motion villain, elongated proportions and all, from the button eyes to the wispy wig to the black-and-white dotted dress. She sweeps her head side to side at a downward angle and delivers five phrases from the film.
DC Dark Knight Joker — $299.99. A six-foot Heath Ledger Joker who slowly opens his jacket to reveal a strap of explosives and turns his head to deliver several direct quotes from the film.
Jeepers Creepers — $349.99. A 6.5-foot version of the Creeper, ready to make any porch immediately unwelcoming.
Lord of the Rings Witch King — $349.99. A 7.75-foot Nazgûl to keep the Balrog company (or to be your entry-level Middle-earth centerpiece, if $25,000 was a bridge too far).
For the Nightmare Before Christmas fans
Two Tim Burton picks made the cut this year:
Mayor of Halloween Town — $299.99. A six-foot, life-size Mayor, complete with the spinning two-faced head.
Zero — $129.99. A two-foot Zero the ghost dog, the most affordable pick on this list and easily the most adoptable.
